Prestons Ambulance Station

Planning is underway to deliver a new ambulance station at Prestons.

A site has been purchased on Enterprise Circuit, Prestons marking a significant milestone in delivering a vital health service which will serve communities across Liverpool.

The new station will significantly enhance emergency capacity across south-western Sydney supporting paramedics to deliver timely and high-quality emergency and mobile medical care.

The station is one of 30 new ambulance stations being delivered across Sydney, the Central Coast, Hunter and Illawarra regions in the coming years.

Benefits

The project will:

• optimise paramedic response times and support critical lifesaving care
• provide a better working environment for local paramedics
• better meet the current and future demand for emergency medical care in south-western Sydney.

Scope

The new station will feature internal parking for emergency ambulance vehicles, vehicle wash facilities, multipurpose spaces to support staff education, logistics and storage spaces, an office area for administration as well as staff amenities.

Status

The project is in planning and design. The next steps for the project include design development and seeking planning approval for the new station.

Construction and operational timeframes will be determined as the project progresses.
