Royal North Shore Hospital - Clinical Services Building

The Royal North Shore Hospital - Clinical Services Building (CSB) was built alongside the public-private partnership redevelopment at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Project information

The $160 million project was fully funded by the NSW Government.

Scope

The project delivered: 

• 40 maternity beds
• 32 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cots
• 12 burns beds
• 24 paediatric beds
• 32 beds for the Mental Health Inpatients Unit - including 12 beds allocated for the high dependency unit
• 60 additional beds on level 9 of the acute services building
• refurbishment of the Douglas Building for displaced Level 9 acute services building
• 60 additional beds in the CSB.
