The Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy (SAMIS) program transformed frontline emergency care in metropolitan Sydney delivering 11 ambulance superstations, one traditional station and seven paramedic response points to give NSW Ambulance paramedics the facilities they need to deliver exceptional emergency patient care and meet the future needs of the Sydney metropolitan area.
The new ambulance stations ensure NSW Ambulance’s highly-trained paramedics deliver the right care to the right patient in the right way at the right time, every time.
The NSW Government invested $202 million in the SAMIS program.

Scope
The program included:
- 11 superstations completed at:
- A traditional station completed at Mona Vale
- 7 Paramedic Patient Referrals (PRPs) completed at:
- Kellyville
- Mortdale
- Bonnyrigg
- Quakers Hill
- Roselands
- Leppington
- Holroyd
- Fit-out of two Sector Offices complete at Werrington and Mascot.
