Ingredients
- ½ cup canned baked beans (reduced salt if available)
- 1 slice bread (wholemeal or wholegrain if available)
- 1 handful baby spinach leaves
- 1 tablespoon grated cheese (reduced fat if available)
- 2 stalks of parsley (optional)
Steps
- Heat beans in the microwave for 1 minute on high or stovetop in a saucepan until heated through.
- Toast bread and lay spinach leaves over the top.
- Pour over beans and then sprinkle cheese over the top.
- Chop the parsley and add as a garnish on top of the cheese (optional).
