Ingredients
- 4 carrots
- 2 tablespoons oil*
- 1 tablespoon honey*
- Pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Chop the carrots up by cutting them in two lengthways, and then in two lengthways again.
- In a large bowl, add carrots, oil, honey and dried Italian herbs. Sprinkle with pepper and mix everything together using clean hands or with a wooden spoon.
- Spread the carrots out onto the lined baking tray and transfer to the preheated oven and roast for 25-30 minutes, or until carrots are soft, turning the carrots halfway using tongs and a tea towel (or oven mitts).
- Put carrots in a serving dish and serve warm.
Tips
These honey roasted carrots are great alongside a meat dish like chicken, beef or seafood.
