Ingredients
- 1 small banana
- ½ cup milk*
- ½ cup unsweetened yoghurt
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- ½ cup uncooked rolled oats
- Fresh, canned or frozen fruit, to serve (such as banana, berries)*
Steps
- Mash a banana with a fork until reaches a custard-like texture.
- Combine mashed banana, milk yogurt and cinnamon in a bowl and mix. Add oats to the bowl and mix well.
- Transfer into a sealable container and place in fridge overnight (at least 3 to 4 hours).
- Divide oat mixture into serving bowls and serve with fruit.
*Tips
- Use milk of your choice in this recipe.
- Option to serve porridge with any cut up fresh, frozen or canned fruit of your choice such as strawberries, pears. peaches or mango.
