Excellence recognised at Justice Health NSW 2025 Staff Awards
Justice Health NSW has celebrated the vital contributions of health staff during the annual Excellence Awards in Sydney.
The 2025 Awards were held yesterday (Tuesday 14 October 2025) at Doltone House Hyde Park and recognised the hard work and outstanding commitment of Justice Health NSW staff across the state.
Justice Health NSW Chief Executive Wendy Hoey extended her congratulations to all the nominees, finalists and award recipients for their dedication and contributions to patient care.
“These awards recognise the hard work and outstanding achievements of our teams who continually strive to ensure they are providing the best possible care to our patients.”
“Due to the unique nature of our settings, much of this work is conducted behind closed doors, however these awards are an opportunity to highlight the incredible work and milestone moments we have achieved together in the past year.”
Amongst the winners were:
- Employee of the Year – Dr Leigh Haysom, Director Medical Services
- Emerging Leader of the Year – Joanna Witkewiecz, Digital Health Project Officer
- Team of the Year – Forensic Hospital Senior Leadership Team
- Board Chair Values Award – Jeremy Gowing, Network Disaster Manager
- Chief Executive's Award – Adriel Lage, Forensic Mental Health Clinical Nurse Consultant
