A chance to reflect on your own wellbeing
Locals are invited to ‘Be Gentle on Yourself', a wellbeing session with country music singer, Melinda Schneider and Far West Local Health District Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP) Coordinators, Marie and Bronte.
It will be held at the Broken Hill Musicians Club (276 Crystal Street, Broken Hill) on Friday the 7th of October 2022.
Come and take some time out, bring a friend and enjoy a cuppa, live music and a chance to reflect on your own wellbeing.
This one-off event is a chance for those in our community to hear Melinda’s story and her struggles with mental ill-health. Melinda is passionate about encouraging rural people to seek help if they need to.
People will also learn what it means to be ‘gentle on yourself’ and hear a few of Melinda’s most healing songs about self-acceptance and taking care of yourself.
There will be an opportunity to connect with others as well as a Q & A at the end of the session.
The 'Be Gentle On Yourself' Event Series is a partnership between RAMHP and RAMHP Ambassador, Melinda Schneider. This event is free to attend.
Bronte said: “This is a great opportunity for people in the Far West to come and listen to Melinda Schneider, hear about what things you can do for your own wellbeing and reflect on what wellbeing looks like for you.”
Attendees will be provided with light refreshments.
