Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19 In Dareton - 4 Cases
There are four confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Dareton in the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD). Two cases are members of one household. They were identified through testing which occurred yesterday. There are seven close contacts.
The two other cases are members of a separate household in Dareton. There are two household contacts and four close contacts.
These cases were identified on the 6 October 2021.
All these cases are self-isolating at home. Close contacts who have been identified to date are in isolation and undergoing testing. Investigations and contact tracing are continuing.
Dareton residents are urged to limit their movements in the community at this time and widespread COVID-19 testing is critical. Anyone currently experiencing, or who has recently experienced, even mild cold-like symptoms is asked to come forward immediately for testing.
There are pop-up COVID-19 testing clinics at:
George Gordon Oval Coomealla, 10am to 2.30pm (7 days a week)
Gol Gol Football Oval, off Caramar Driver; 10am to 2.30pm (7 days a week)
Wentworth Show Grounds, Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm; Saturday and Sunday 10am to 2pm.
There will be no more surveillance testing in Dareton due to positive cases being confirmed.
