'We know that Sarah is a wonderful specialist palliative care physician and to have that recognised on a national stage is simply fantastic,' said Ms Cumming.
'In everything she does, Sarah will also want to acknowledge the team she works with, as all members of the team do a remarkable job. But this award is to acknowledge her contribution, and we look forward to celebrating this remarkable achievement with her.'
The news is hot on the heels of Dr Wenham winning both the Medical Clinical Excellence and the Medical Leadership Excellence award in the Staff Recognition Awards at the FWLHD's annual Health Innovation Award Ceremony on Friday, 2 August 2019.
