Far West LHD Vaccination Clinic is moving
The community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in Broken Hill is moving to the Con Crowley Village Recreation Centre at 2 Blende Street, as of Tuesday, 15 June 2021.
The community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic in Broken Hill is moving to the Con Crowley Village Recreation Centre at 2 Blende Street, as of Tuesday, 15 June 2021.
The clinic will be open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. (It will be closed on the Queen's Birthday public holiday, Monday 14 June 2021).
The vaccination clinic will administer AstraZeneca vaccine. The public will be advised when the Pfizer vaccine will be offered at the clinic.

From Tuesday 8 June, the eligibility requirements for Australia's COVID-19 vaccination program changed. People who are now eligible can make an appointment and find a clinic using the Federal Government's eligibility checker. Anyone aged 50 and over is urged to contact their GP in the first instance when seeking to be vaccinated. The new clinic will be working alongside existing services run by local GPs and the Maari Ma Aboriginal Health Corporation, offering COVID-19 vaccinations.
Anyone who would like to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine and cannot do so via a GP can book to attend the Far West LHD clinic or attend in person with no appointment necessary.
The AstraZeneca vaccine is available for eligible people aged 50 years and over in the 1a and 2b priority groups, as defined by the Commonwealth Department of Health.
Phase 1b includes people 80 years and over, people aged 70 to 79 years, Aboriginal people aged 50 years and over, and critical, high-risk workers, including defence, police, fire, emergency services and meat processing.
Phase 2a includes everyone aged 50 years and over, and other critical high-risk workers.
The Far West LHD COVID-18 vaccination clinic is also offering the vaccine for staff.
