BCNSW eCert

In NSW, safety and accountability are paramount.

Whether you're working for a customer, an organisation, a hospital or an energy provider, your work plays a critical role in protecting lives and property from damage.

So what is a Certificate of Compliance?

A certificate of compliance is your formal declaration that the work completed meets all relevant compliance and installation standards and regulations. It's not just paperwork, it's a commitment to quality and safety.

Fail to provide one. This can incur a fine for each time a certificate of compliance is not submitted. And remember, depending on the nature of the work carried out, additional relevant authorities or stakeholders may also need to receive a copy to ensure full regulatory compliance.

The Building Commission NSW eCert portal makes compliance easy. Register, log in and manage your certificates all in one place. Certificates submitted through the Building Commission NSW eCert Portal are instantly and automatically lodged with Building Commission NSW.

No extra steps required. Copies will be automatically sent to your customer and may also be shared with other relevant parties depending on the nature of the work completed. It's fast, simple and keeps everyone informed. Streamline your process and stay compliant with ease.

Compliance isn't just a requirement, it's your obligation. Lodge your certificate, meet your licence obligations. Earn trust.
