Providing installation details
Type of mobile installation installed
Choose the type of mobile installation being certified, for example:
- Caravan
- Marine vessel
- Motor vehicle.

Type of gas installed
Choose the type of gas installed from the options provided, such as LP gas (propane) or Other.
Only select Other if the gas type is not covered by the listed options. If selected, enter the gas type in the text field provided.
Details of the network operator
Select the network operator from the drop-down list.
Confirm gas leak check
Select whether a gas leak check has been conducted. If applicable, enter the date the gas leak check was carried out.
Adding appliance details
Record appliances included in the installation
On the Appliance details screen, select Add to begin. A pop-up window will appear.

Add an appliance
In the pop-up window, select the appliance type from the drop-down list. Scroll to view all available options.
Enter the quantity connected, then select Save. The appliance will appear in the list on the main screen.

Add additional appliances
Repeat this process for each additional appliance connected to the installation. The item code for each appliance will automatically populate based on your selection.
Edit or remove an appliance
If you need to edit or remove an appliance from the list, select the downward arrow next to the appliance and choose Edit or Delete.

Entering vehicle details
Enter vehicle owner details
Enter the owner’s name and email address.
If the owner does not have an email address, you can enter the email address of a trusted third party nominated by them, such as a family member or friend.

Add the vehicle owner's address
Enter the owner’s address using address search to select a matching address. If no match appears, select enter address manually and complete the required fields.
Enter vehicle details
Enter the vehicle details for the mobile installation, including:
- Make
- Model
- Chassis or VIN
- Registration number, if applicable
- Hull ID number, if applicable.
Adding the vehicle owner’s address
Using the address search ensures the owner’s address is saved in the correct format. However, sometimes an address may not appear in the search, so it will need to be entered manually.
If no match appears in the address search drop-down list, select the Enter address manually option.
Enter the required fields, including lot, plan type, plan number, street name, suburb and postcode. All required fields must be completed.
The lot number and plan type (DP or SP) can be found on:
- the most recent rates notice from the property owner
- searching for the address in the NSW Planning Portal spatial viewer.
- Add extra details if needed (e.g. section, unit, apartment, street number or local government area.)
- Check the details are correct, then select Save and continue to confirm.
