Housing Pathways
Housing Pathways is a simple and fair way to manage housing assistance in NSW.
Housing Pathways provides access to a range of social and affordable housing assistance products and services. This includes:
- temporary accommodation if someone is homeless
- private rental help
- social housing.
Housing Pathways is a partnership between:
- Homes NSW, including the Aboriginal Housing Office
- participating community housing providers.
Housing Pathways provides:
- coordinated information about housing assistance
- a single application process
- common eligibility criteria
- a standard assessment process
- a single wait list known as the NSW Housing Register.
No wrong door
Housing Pathways is a system with a ‘no wrong door’ approach. You may seek housing support through Homes NSW or a community housing provider. Whichever door you open, you will receive a consistent standard of housing advice and access to services or be linked to another provider.
