Housing Pathways

Housing Pathways provides access to a range of social and affordable housing assistance products and services. This includes:

• temporary accommodation if someone is homeless
• private rental help
• social housing.

Housing Pathways is a partnership between:

• Homes NSW, including the Aboriginal Housing Office
• participating community housing providers. 

Housing Pathways provides:

• coordinated information about housing assistance
• a single application process
• common eligibility criteria
• a standard assessment process
• a single wait list known as the NSW Housing Register.

No wrong door

Housing Pathways is a system with a ‘no wrong door’ approach. You may seek housing support through Homes NSW or a community housing provider. Whichever door you open, you will receive a consistent standard of housing advice and access to services or be linked to another provider.
