Screening tool for eligibility - assisted boarding houses
Potential residents must complete a screening tool assessment to evaluate whether their needs can be met in an assisted boarding house.
A person applying to live in an assisted boarding house must complete a screening tool assessment before they can live there.
This requirement comes from the Boarding Houses Regulation 2013.
The screening tool assesses:
- a person’s support needs
- their suitability to live in an assisted boarding house.
