Homes NSW offers private rental assistance products to help eligible tenants start and maintain a tenancy. They offer greater security to agents and landlords and may help facilitate more new leases.

Bond Extra

The Bond Extra program encourages private sector landlords and agents to rent properties to people experiencing difficulty entering the private rental market.

Tenancy Assistance

The NSW Government offers Tenancy Assistance to eligible clients who are in rent and/or water arrears.

Rentstart Bond Loan

An interest-free Rentstart Bond Loan can help eligible clients start a tenancy in the private rental market. 
 

Rent Choice

Rent Choice is a private rental subsidy that helps eligible tenants pay the rent for up to 3 years.

Headleasing guidelines

Homes NSW headleases properties in the private rental market and subleases them to approved social housing tenants, typically for 6 months to 3 years.
