Exposed log in details
The Australian Cyber Security Centre were made aware of a dataset allegedly containing 14 million log in details dating back to 2020 (email address and password). We have received a subset of the data that included log in details for NSW government agency portals.
The email address and password some customers used to access NSW Government agency portals may have been published online.
These customers have been contacted directly by ID Support NSW and provided with advice. If you have not been contacted, you were not included in the dataset. You may still like to undertake the activities below to stay safe online.
Please note that the disclosure of log in details has not been caused by a NSW Government data breach.
