The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment is seeking feedback on the draft replacement Water Sharing Plan for the Bellinger River Area Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources 2020.

The draft replacement Water Sharing Plan for the Bellinger River Area Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources is open for public exhibition. The water sharing plan establishes rules for water management including the limit of the total volume of water that can be extracted from the water sources in the Bellinger River area.
Public information sessions:
Two information sessions will be held in Bellinger to learn more about:
- the draft replacement Bellinger River Area Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources Water Sharing Plan
- the proposed changes to the Water Sharing Plan
- how to make a submission.
The public information sessions will be held at the Bello Youth Hub, Corner of William and Church Streets, Bellingen on:
- Tuesday 10 March 2020, 4 pm to 6:30 pm
- Wednesday 11 March 2020, 10 am to 12:30 pm.
The public exhibition will allow any interested persons to review and make a submission on the proposed management rules in the draft Water Sharing Plan.
