Border Fence Maintenance Regulation 2018
What’s this about?
The NSW Government is remaking the Border Fence Maintenance Regulation 2009, which will be repealed on 1 September 2018.
The proposed regulation would remake the provisions of the 2009 regulation without amendments.
The regulation supports the Border Fence Maintenance Board to achieve its objectives under the Border Fence Maintenance Act 1921. It does this by allowing the board to levy an amount greater than that prescribed in the Act for the purposes of building and maintaining the wild dog border fence.
The proposed regulation and Regulatory Impact Statement are available on the NSW Department of Industry website.
