The NSW Environment Protection Authority is seeking your feedback on the proposed Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Regulation 2017.

What's this about?

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is undertaking a review of the Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Regulation 2008, in accordance with the staged repeal program under the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.

The staged repeal program requires all NSW regulations to be reviewed every five years unless otherwise postponed. This is to ensure that regulations are up-to-date.

The Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Regulation supports the operation of the state’s key legislation for managing high-risk chemicals.

The Environment Protection Authority welcomes comments on the proposed new Environmentally Hazardous Chemicals Regulation.
