What's this about?

In 2016 the NSW Government dedicated state forest areas between Bega and Bermagui on the state’s South Coast as flora reserves under the Forestry Act 2012.

In a unique arrangement, the National Parks and Wildlife Service has been appointed land manager for these reserves, known collectively as the Murrah Flora Reserves.

The draft working plan has been prepared in accordance with section 25 of the Forestry Act.

The exhibition of the draft working plan provides members of the community with the opportunity to have a say in the future management directions for the Murrah Flora Reserves.
