NSW Curriculum Review
What’s this about?
The NSW Government has commenced a review of the NSW school curriculum to ensure our education system is preparing students for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
This is the first comprehensive review since 1989.
The review will look at ways to make the NSW curriculum clearer to understand and teach. It will consider the strengths and weaknesses of the current curriculum, its relationship to the Australian curriculum, and how it can better support every student and their learning.
To achieve the best possible outcome, NESA has commenced public consultation and is seeking feedback from teachers, young people, parents and carers, community groups, employers, teacher unions and academics, along with anyone else in the broader community who wants to have a say.
