Rail Trail Community Consultation
What's this about?
This workshop will help the NSW Government understand community sentiment about the closure of the rail corridor. The workshop will:
- provide information on a proposed rail trail program
- inform the local community on legislative requirements
- respond to local questions and concerns.
Rail trails provide new economic opportunities from disused rail corridors and delivers recreation options for local communities and visitors to the area. The NSW Government supports the development of rail trails where communities are supportive.
A consultation workshop in Goulburn in February 2018 forms part of an ongoing consultation process with local stakeholders on future development of the rail corridor, including biosecurity and other risk mitigation strategies.
Have your say
In order to receive feedback from all impacted parties, the workshop is open to the public. Due to limited capacity, bookings are essential.
