The NSW Government is committed to protecting the rights of all residents living in boarding houses in NSW.

The Boarding Houses Act 2012 was introduced to improve and regulate the sector.

Your feedback is vital in ensuring the Boarding Houses Act 2012 meets the needs of the community.

The NSW Government have released a discussion paper and invites feedback from boarding house residents, industry advocates, proprietors and members of the public.

Have your say online by 8 October 2019. 

The NSW Government will distribute a printed summary of the discussion paper to all assisted boarding houses in NSW. Residents are welcome to use the printed summary to provide their feedback.
