What's this about?

Terry Hie Hie Aboriginal Area was reserved on 1 December 2005 as an outcome of the NSW Government's decision to conserve 350,000 hectares of woodlands in the Brigalow Belt South and Nandewar bioregion.

The Draft Plan of Management contains information on the natural environments, Aboriginal heritage, history, and recreational opportunities in the park. They are legal documents, explaining how the park will be managed.

The draft plans will be on exhibition from 20 October to 22 January 2018 at the following locations:

  • National Parks and Wildlife Service Narrabri Area Office, 1/100 Maitland St, Narrabri
  • Moree Community Library, 36 Balo St, Moree
  • Office of Environment and Heritage Customer Centre, Level 14, 59-61 Goulburn St, Sydney.

After public consultation, the draft plans will be adopted by the Minister for the Environment.
