The MAAS Project – Public Meetings

Topic: Planning

Register to attend one of the upcoming public meetings on plans for the new museum in Western Sydney and options for a continued Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences presence in Ultimo.

What's this about?

The NSW Government is working with the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS) to build a truly iconic museum in Western Sydney.

To deliver the best possible museum, a business case has been established to ensure all options are investigated, tested and analysed.

The business case has been expanded to include an arts and cultural space in Ultimo that considers keeping some MAAS presence at the current Powerhouse Museum site.

Community consultation is an important element of the business case and we invite you to be part of the conversation.

Have your say

Two public meetings will be held:

The public meetings will be an opportunity to hear firsthand from the project team and to ask them questions.

Capacity for the venue is limited, and a waitlist will be activated once event registrations are at capacity.

Registrations will close at 5pm on Friday, 21 July 2017.
