What's this about?

The current plan of management, adopted in 2006, is being amended to enable the improvement of an iconic 20-kilometre coastal walking experience from Tomaree Head to Birubi Point.

It will involve the upgrade of existing tracks and construction of new track sections on the Tomaree Coastal Walk and improvements to the visitor facilities provided along the walk.

New and improved facilities will include viewing platforms, public amenities, carparking and interpretation.

The draft amendment includes the Draft Tomaree Coastal Walk Strategy, to provide more detail about the proposed improvements.
