The Office of Environment and Heritage and the National Parks and Wildlife Service are seeking your feedback on the Waste Point Preliminary Master Plan, Kosciuszko National Park.

What's this about?

Waste Point in Kosciuszko National Park has been used as a management base since the 1950s and contains a collection of houses, a small research station, a works depot and water supply, waste water treatment and utility infrastructure. 

The vision for the preliminary master plan is to transition Waste Point from an operational based support facility to a recreational park precinct.
