Water Resource Plans: Status and Issues

Topic: Planning

The Department of Industry - Water is inviting feedback on two Status and Issues Papers for the development of Water Resource Plans.

What's this about?

Status and Issues Papers have been prepared for the following water resource plans as the starting point for the water resource planning process:

For each region, the paper defines the status of the water resources and lists existing known water issues for consideration.

The Department of Industry – Water (DPI), in collaboration with the Natural Resources Commission will review the Water Sharing Plan for the NSW Border Rivers Regulated River Water Source 2009 in parallel with the Water Resource Plan development process.

DPI Water and the Commission invites feedback from the public and acknowledges that many stakeholder concerns will be relevant to the Water Resource Plan development process and the water sharing plan review. Recognising this, feedback can be addressed to both agencies.

Your feedback will help shape the development of the draft Water Resource Plans.

There are two ways to submit your feedback.

Murrumbidgee (groundwater) GW9
