Northern Beaches B-Line

Published 5th July, 2019

As well as a double-decker bus service between the Northern Beaches and the Sydney CBD, the B-Line program includes modern bus stops, new commuter carparks and roadworks to improve traffic flow.

Frequent, turn-up-and-go B-Line bus services provide more seats and comfortable travel for customers between Mona Vale and the city centre. Customers can access real-time service information at one of the 10 modern bus stops.

Commuter car parks have opened at Mona Vale, Warriewood, Narrabeen, Dee Why, Brookvale, and Manly Vale. With a total of 900 car spaces and bike parking, they are designed for public transport customers to connect to a transport hub or B-Line stop.

To improve traffic flow and ease congestion, the government is also building new bus lanes, bus bays and other improvements along the B-Line route. The work completed to date has helped to reduce the journey time between Mona Vale and Wynyard by around nine minutes.
