“What a Relief” Comedy Tour

What a Relief! is a stand-up comedy tour that takes in 27 drought-affected communities across regional NSW with award-winning comedians Damian Callinan and Rob Carlton.

Important update

Unfortunately, “What a Relief!” the Comic Relief Drought Tour, has been cancelled on the recommendation of the Australian Government and health authorities for individuals, employers and organisation to promote social distancing and help reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection in our community. As a result, the remaining shows in Manilla, Bellata, Croppa Creek, Ashford, Torrington and Gum Flat will not go ahead. Rob Carlton and the team are deeply saddened to cancel the remaining six shows but feel this is the right decision as the health and welfare of regional communities is a top priority.

The free evenings of entertainment, which include BBQ, will give communities something to laugh about despite the tough times. They’ll deliver crucial mental health messages in a way that’s entertaining, immediate and relevant. Damian and Rob will lift the level of stand-up comedy and storytelling beyond a man and a microphone, to what promises to be an unforgettable night out.

The What a Relief! comedy tour is supported by the State Government's Rural Adversity Mental Health Program, the Rural Financial Counselling Service Northern Region, Healthwise New England North West and Local Land Services, as well as the NSW Government.
