All approved counsellors provide trauma informed counselling to victims of crime.

To find a counsellor that’s right for you, select one or more filters to refine your search criteria and then select ‘Apply filters’. You can search by:

  • counsellor’s name (keyword search)
  • location (select the search distance from your preferred location, up to 300km)
  • consultation type
  • counsellor’s gender
  • counsellor’s experience
  • languages other than English spoken by the counsellor.

Once you find a suitable counsellor, contact them to request an appointment or to find out more about them. If you need assistance, you can contact the Victims Access Line on 1800 633 063, the Aboriginal Contact Line on 1800 019 123 or email vs@dcj.nsw.gov.au

For more information about counselling, see the 'Applicant’s guide to approved counselling' you received with your acknowledgement letter.
