This procedure applies to young people in custody who are patients at a Youth Justice Centre.
A juvenile correctional patient is a young person who has been transferred from a Youth Justice Centre to the forensic hospital (Bronte Adolescent Forensic Unit) while serving a sentence, or while on remand, and who have not been classified by the Tribunal as an involuntary patient.
