Case Note Manual

This manual is for all Youth Justice NSW employees. It outlines how to write case notes in a way that meets legal and operational needs while supporting a case management service module.

This manual provides a case note format that must be used when recording all supervision interviews. This format can be adapted to any ongoing interaction or event with or related to the young person.

Case noting is important because it provides the accountability needed to show compliance with professional, operational and legislative requirements.
