Air pollution and your health

Air pollution may be harmful to human health and the environment. It can come from natural sources such as bush fires, dust storms, sea salt and pollen. It also comes from people driving cars and industrial activities such as mining, oil refining or power generation.

How we monitor air quality

Air quality is monitored through a network of monitoring stations across the state.
