Business boost for Central Coast
Aspiring and existing business owners in the Central Coast can now access a NSW Government one-stop shop Business Concierge service, potentially saving them time and money when starting or expanding a business.
Minister for Customer Service Victor Dominello said the Woy Woy Service NSW Centre would host a three week pilot of the inaugural face to face service on weekdays from 22 November to 13 December 2019.
“Small business is the engine room of the economy which is why Service NSW has transformed from being a one-stop shop for individual customers to also being a one-stop shop for business customers,” Mr Dominello said.
“We know that starting or growing a business can be complicated and stressful, and this service brings everything together in one convenient location.”
Small Business Minister Damien Tudehope said the Business Concierge service would assist businesses with advice and tips on how to start and grow a business.
“This is about government getting out of the way by giving businesses the tools they need to thrive,” Mr Tudehope said.
Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch said Service NSW is transforming the customer experience for business owners as well as local residents.
“Service NSW has been a huge success for Central Coast locals and now the NSW Liberal Government is replicating this success for local businesses,” Mr Crouch said.
“Less time spent dealing with government means more time to develop your business and commence operations. I would encourage local business owners to learn more about this fantastic new initiative and make an appointment at Service NSW Woy Woy.”
The service complements the existing personalised over the phone support from the Business Concierge team and a digital platform which outlines the regulations and licences needed to start a small business across a range of sectors.
The phone service has already helped 5000 customers start or grow their business, with owners of cafes, restaurants and small bars saving up to 86 hours of effort, while slashing the time it takes to start a small bar by almost six months.
Central Coast Customers can make an appointment at the centre or by calling 13 77 88.
