State Funeral for Bart Cummings OAM

Mr Cummings passed away yesterday at the age of 87.

“On behalf of the people of NSW I extend my deepest sympathies to Bart Cummings’ family, friends and colleagues,” Mr Baird said.

“Bart Cummings was a giant of Australian racing whose outstanding record is unlikely to ever be matched.”

The state funeral will be held on Monday 7 September 2015 at Sydney’s St Mary's Cathedral, commencing at 10am.
