What is the Act Wise Driver Program

This trial program is a type of fine diversion. That means, if you are a P1 or P2  driver aged 17–24 and you get a driving fine, you may be temporarily eligible to do an activity instead of paying your fine and accruing demerit points.

If you recently broke a road rule, police may have given you a flyer about this program.

About the activity

This activity is a free e-learning course and it helps you think about your choices on the road. It shows that some actions can lead to mistakes and encourages smarter driving.

This activity uses real-life examples to show how different choices can lead to different results. It helps you see how your decisions can affect you and others.

Time to complete: 1-2 hours.

Language and accessibility

  • the activity is only available in English
  • transcriptions and captions are available.
