Enjoy an hour of great music and wine in an intimate and engaging listening environment, at Bach in the Dark. 'Cellist Rachel Scott is joined by flute player Sally Walker, for the first concert in the 2016 series. Bach in the Dark is a series of unconventional classical music concerts featuring 'cellist Rachel Scott and a changing roster of guest artists. The series is held in the crypt of St James church,an intimate and unique listening environment ideally suited to an engaging and accessible chamber music experience. Due to the high demand for tickets for this event, booking early is recommended. Programme includes works by J.S. Bach, Elena Kats-Chernin, and Heitor Villa-Lobos. Doors open at 6.30pm. There is no reserved seating. You may wish to bring a cushion, as most seating is on wooden church pews. Entrance is at the Elizabeth Street end of the building.
