Annual Bald Archy Exhibition
Byron Street, Gundagai, NSW, 2722, Australia
21st March 2017 to 17th April 2017
The Bald Archy exhibition is Gundagai's most renowned event on the arts calendar, consisting of 40 hilarious portraits of well known Australians. Held at the Old Gundagai Gaol. It's the only art event in the world to be judged by a sulphur-crested cockatoo named Maude. The Bald Archy Prize is known throughout the world for providing artists of all styles and standards with a genuine opportunity, ranging from the hilarious to the bizarrely vulgar, to create portrait paintings of humour, dark satire, light comedy, or caricature.
