China Doll and China Lane collaborate for one night of celebration

Passionately involved in Sydney’s culinary scene for a combined 20 years, Woolloomooloo institution China Doll, and it’s younger urban sibling, China Lane, are coming together for one night only to celebrate their love of modern Asian cooking. For one special night on Wednesday 9 May 2018, Head Chef Frank Shek (China Doll) will make his way up from the waters of Woolloomooloo Wharf to join Head Chef Kristian Vale (China Lane) in his kitchen, cooking side by side to recreate some of the restaurants most loved dishes from the past two decades. Hosted by Maeve O’Meara (SBS Food Safari). Guests will enjoy a suite of delectable entrées like steamed New Zealand Abalone and Hiramasa Kingfish tarte, followed by China Doll and China Lane favourites such as Masterstock pork belly and Wok fried Alaskan crab. Accompanied by Voyager Estate Wines and Sapporo Beer.
