Get away from it all at the stunning Bay and Bush Cottages, a brand new retreat in the bush at Woollamia, a stone's throw from Huskisson!
Learn how to read crochet patterns with Deanne Ramsay from Addydae Designs and begin creating pictures in your crochet with filet crochet.
Filet crochet uses solid and open meshes in a grid form to create beautiful patterns that can be applied to just about anything from coasters to curtains! In this workshop you will learn the basics of the filet crochet technique, how to follow a crochet chart, and how to create your own filet crochet masterpiece by using a grid.
Level: Advanced Beginner
Skills: Basic crochet skills; ch, dc (US terminology)
This workshop will take place in the beautiful Sun Room at the Bay and Bush Cottages complete with beautiful natural light in a bush setting and roaring fireplace!
Please bring: 50 grams of DK weight/eight ply cotton (solid colours work best), a yarn needle (for weaving in ends) and scissors.
You will also need a 4.5 millimetre crochet hook and they are giving five of those free to the next five people to book so get in quick!
