Douglas Vale Historic Homestead and Vineyard will premiere the Port Macquarie Hastings Region’s Heritage celebrations with their Heritage Open Day.

There will be a variety of stalls incorporating craft demonstrations, community and historical displays, sweets, craft, art, flowers, books by local authors.

Devonshire teas, tasty barbecue, volunteer led homestead and grounds tours and an opportunity to taste their unique wines will complement the day.

All day entertainment and informative attractions on stage, including the official opening of the Australian Heritage Festival in the Port Macquarie-Hastings Region by Mayor Peta Pinson at 1pm. Also, the official opening of the official Archives/Storage Facility by the State Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams at 1.45pm. There will be special historical presentations by local heritage organisations.

Entry is by Gold Coin donation.
