Elegant Felt Jewellery
2 Egmont Place, Vincentia, NSW, 2540, Australia
20th January 2018
Felt making is one of the world's oldest textile traditions. From the yurts of the Mongolian plains to the heavy felted boots and coats from the icy climates of the Nordic countries, felt has been a sturdy, warm, and incredibly versatile material for centuries. In this class they use the softest, skin-friendly merino wool, silk fibres and other embellishments to make simple, elegant jewellery that you can wear on a special occasion, or every day. From cords and beads, to lariate and toggle designs, you will be able to choose a combination of colours and techniques that suit your personal style. All materials supplied: Each participant will receive a kit containing various wool and silk fibres, and other embellishments. Additional materials will be available for purchase on the day. Limited Spaces: All classes are strictly limited to six people so that each participant has lots of space and attention from the tutor throughout the day. However, there are also no minimums, if you should be the only person to book, this event will still go ahead!
