In this eight hour workshop with Natalie Delaney-John from Rest in Pieces you will learn: The traditional museum techniques of identification, rehydration, spreading and pinning specimens; and How to display and present your feature specimen.
Each participant will leave this workshop with a variety of Lepidoptera and your chosen feature specimen (Ulysses Butterfly or Death's Head Hawkmoth). You will also take home a shadow box to mount your beautiful creation in.
Introductory class suitable for beginners.
Participants under 18 years please contact them prior to booking.
All materials provided. Take home kits available.
Please bring a smart phone with a high-quality camera.
