This four day set of workshops are offered for students with a passion for Fashion Design.
The Fashion Design Portfolio workshop focuses on the process involved in forecasting trends, development of design ideas, technical detail and ultimately, fashion product. This is a one-day workshop with a small amount of preparation.
The idea behind the Fashion Illustration workshop is to build the skills required to produce industry quality fashion illustrations. Fashion templates are provided for students to practice sketching and rendering colour and texture in a supportive environment.
The Studio Faro Corset Block is the outcome of a pattern-making project for a local designer. During this one-day workshop, you will produce Corset patterns with design features that may include tucks, fullness and interesting seam detail.
The Skirt Pattern Making workshop will help students to develop their understanding of basic pattern making. You will learn to adapt industry blocks into skirt patterns with an emphasis on strong technical detail to achieve a professional edge.
These workshops are suitable for students of all skill levels.
