Fly Me To The Moon
644 George Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000, Australia
9th January 2019 to 27th January 2019
You’re invited to help mark the 50th anniversary of the moon landing by taking part in an epic city-wide achievement. Jump on your bike, alongside the rest of Sydney, and help them to collectively cycle the 384,400 kilometres to the moon. You can take part in this slightly loony lunar expedition by visiting art installation Fly Me To The Moon at World Square and peddling on the wild flying bike sculpture Lunar Velocipede created by arts company Erth Visual and Physical. You can also get involved in organised rides or donate the kilometres from your daily bike travel or gym sessions. Together, let’s make it to the moon, and imagine what the Earth will be like in the next 50 years.
