Gate to Plate Featuring Whisky, Fine Foods and Masterclasses presents whisky tastings, regional foods and produce and masterclasses over two days at Yamba. The Gate to Plate event showcases of the finest produce and food products from around the Clarence Valley and northern New South Wales area. The event sees a gathering of people from communities within the Valley and afar, allowing them to mingle and enjoy wonderful produce, Australian made wines from the Granite Belt in Northern New South Wales and a specialist whisky producer from Tasmania will make the event a gastronomic delight for the attending. Ideally held at the end of summer this unique event launches with dinner produced by the best chefs of the Clarence Valley followed by a whisky tasting with Mark Nicolson of Lark Distillery, Tasmania. The next day enjoy a series of Whisky Tasting masterclasses and a regional produce and fresh food market. Learn all about making and tasting whisky and taste the best foods and coffees of the valley.
