Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic – part of the annual Festival of the Bike which celebrates over 125 years of bike culture in Grafton.

This year will feature the 60th Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic and loads of bike events such as a film screening, G2I memorabilia at the Grafton Library, Bike Town Food Fest (feat. The Design Collective) and the Midday Rotary Family Fun Ride over the Old Grafton Bridge and back on the New Bridge, accompanied by antique bikes from Mulga Bill Cycles.

This one day event, beginning in Grafton and finishing in Inverell, is a 228 kilometre ride over some of the most demanding terrain in worldwide cycling, starting at 25 metres above sea level and climbing to 1060 metres, then finishing at 590 metres in Inverell.

The race is six to seven hours long, depending on the weather conditions.

Each year at the finish line in Vivian Street, Inverell there are various street activities held, so why not bring the family along and enjoy the carnival atmosphere
