At this fun jewellery making workshop you will learn how to handcraft your own jewellery over a series of eight classes.
This jewellery making workshop is perfect for beginners all the way to intermediates. You will learn traditional techniques made using different tools like saw frames, files, hammers and flexible shafts, and how to polish and solder jewellery in an authentic silversmith workshop. The class will be led by a jeweller with over 40 years experience and you will get hands-on in a creative environment.
They have a maximum of nine students per class and each person is individually taught at their own pace. This jewellery class also offers instructions in wax carving which is another useful technique which combines really well with handcrafted pieces.
Over the course of the classes you will learn the fundamental techniques of jewellery making, while designing and finally creating your own finished jewellery pieces made from precious metal, gemstones, pearls and other materials. You will also meet like-minded people in this educational, inspiring and fun handcrafted jewellery course.
